Spatial was established in the UK over 35 years ago, and today offers the following core supply chain services: international freight forwarding, project cargo, mailing house, e-commerce, fulfilment, courier, warehousing/storage and logistics.
Based at Castle Donington, on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, we provide UK nationwide and international coverage across a wide range of market sectors – with specialist expertise in publishing, marketing/direct mail, e-retail/e-commerce, educational supply, healthcare supply, hazardous goods, plus construction/engineering and project cargo.
We have been a member of the UK-based Keswick Enterprises Group since 2006.
Yes. Although we are not an integrator on the scale of a DHL or a UPS, we are nevertheless a major UK-based operator in the fields of international freight forwarding, mail consolidation, e-commerce, fulfilment, warehousing, logistics and courier services.
We have 60 full-time staff, and annual revenues exceeding £10 million. We continue to grow strongly thanks to our reputation for excellence, and our strong, loyal and proactive customer partnerships.
Sure. Spatial provides UK nationwide storage, collections and deliveries of palletised and boxed goods, plus parcels and envelopes – and offers international freight forwarding, mail, e-commerce, fulfilment, warehousing/storage, logistics and courier services to organisations of every size... and any requirement.
Yes, collections are made day and night throughout the UK – mainland and islands – either using dedicated vehicles or through our approved agency network.
Spatial Freight specialises in non-containerised and project cargo for the construction, engineering/manufacturing and other industries – so size is no limitation for us. We have moved some of the world's largest cargoes, including aircraft engines, power generation equipment, cable reels, pipes, etc. – even entire factories.
A single envelope (minimum dimensions: 140mm x 90mm).
Spatial operates across the United Kingdom and across the world. Based near East Midlands Airport at Castle Donington in Derbyshire, we make daily collections across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, north Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Elsewhere on the UK mainland and islands – and overseas – we deploy our extensive agency network for collections and deliveries.
We operate two customs warehouses in the UK for the benefit of customers wishing to delay payment of VAT and import duties until their goods are sold.
Almost certainly. Our warehouse management system interfaces directly with customers' systems via EDI. All our warehouses operate with RF technology.
Yes. Spatial Freight completes customs declarations for both imports and exports on behalf of customers to ensure speedy and efficient clearance of air, sea, rail or trailer shipments. We are electronically networked with major UK ports and airports.
Of course. If required we can prepare your delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders, letters of credit, certificates of origin, EUR1 movement certificates, legalised and certified documents, and any other documentation necessary to complete the shipping transaction.
Yes. As well as our automated enveloping and polywrapping machines, Spatial Global offers cost-effective hand-fulfilment services for special work for publishers, printers and marketers – such as foam-dot fixings, blob-glued onserts, belly banding, inserting pens and other items, etc.
Spatial provides e-commerce support and fulfilment solutions for e-retailers and catalogue retailers. Services include systems integration, data management, documentation, ambient warehousing, pallet storage, pick & pack, inventory management, labelling, worldwide courier and postal despatch, and management reports. We also offer a e-commerce delivery portal.
No problem. Spatial's Data department can receive information in almost all formats, and will transfer and reformat it accurately and to strict deadlines. We also offer address deduplication and mail merge services.
We could be. Spatial operates 24-hours-a-day and provides pick & pack services for cases and individual items. These can either be delivered by post or our scheduled express or economy couriers or, for time-critical deliveries worldwide, through our Diplomat courier service.
Yes and yes. Spatial Courier's system allows customers to monitor securely the delivery status of their consignments online. Other departments offer similar secure online visibility of consignments and stock. All our courier customers benefit from online proof of delivery – including time, date and signature. See Tracking and event management.
Spatial Global has ISO 9001:2008 quality certification across all products and services.
Not necessarily. We also offer flexible and low-cost shared warehousing and storage facilities, with no long-term commitment. Customers can use our services on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis.
Because we believe we try harder than other delivery specialists, and we will do a better job for you without the premium price-tag. We are big enough to provide the buying power that enables us to pass on cost savings to our customers, but not so big that we've lost the art of personal service. We are totally dedicated to our customers, and no job is too big or too small.
We extend our reach geographically by working with trusted partners and agents around the world. With partners we have the ability to agree and set service parameters, and then proactively switch them if these are not achieved – something that the larger players never do with their own offices. Our customers know their account really matters to us.
All our added-value services in the UK are provided under one roof by our own trained and highly experienced support personnel.
