Spatial Global wins BIFA 2010 Special Services award

Spatial Global has won the coveted winner's trophy for the Special Services award at the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Awards, held in London on 20 January 2011. Castle Donington-based Spatial has developed logistics solutions across many business sectors and geographical areas. Today it specialises in international freight forwarding, mail and fulfilment, warehousing, pick and pack, courier and distribution services, plus related added value support activities. Now in their 22nd year, the BIFA Awards are recognised as among the most prestigious in the industry. The competition encourages and rewards high standards of professionalism – the ultimate recognition of special achievements in different sectors of the industry. For over 30 years, Spatial has demonstrated quality and commitment and is proud to be a member of BIFA. The company is thrilled to have received industry recognition for its business and the hard work put in by its team... "We are hugely proud to win this award", says Wendy Hain, Managing Director of Spatial Global Limited. "We know from client feedback that our service is a winner, and it is extremely gratifying to have this recognised publicly". In reviewing the case study and presentation, the judges praised Spatial Global for its proven ability to provide an efficient freight service when transporting life-saving products for patients wishing to travel overseas – where delays could, quite literally, make the difference between life and death. The client relationship has developed to the point where every patient can now have the confidence of travelling knowing that their lives are in safe hands. Rachel Morley, Manager of Spatial's Freightworks division, adds: "I was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the Spatial team and also pleased to hear the judges' comments, which clearly illustrate the commitment that our team gives to its customers. The solution is supported globally, whatever the time of day, and it is a pleasure for the Spatial team to work with a client where we can share a vision for quality and value-added service, and where all of the benefits for the patient and their families can be seen." Spatial Global impressed the judges by making a real difference to people's lives and in providing a 'special service' of the highest quality. As every customer has unique requirements, a bespoke solution has to be delivered to each one. In an extremely competitive marketplace, Spatial prides itself on the strength of its customer relationships and on product development. "In understanding the individual needs of our clients we are able to offer efficient and cost-effective supply chain solutions encompassing all of their requirements – creating a partnership that has structured plans for growth and business development", concludes Wendy Hain. Spatial Global is a Keswick Enterprises Group company (see www.keswickenterprises.com).
