Gruppo Media achieves fulfilment with Spatial Global

Spatial Global Limited, the United Kingdom-based international delivery specialist, announces that it has extended its support to Gruppo Media Limited to cover all the publisher's warehousing, pick and pack, mail delivery, express courier and freight services. Formed in a management buyout led by Bruce Sandell from Rouleur Limited in April 2013, Gruppo Media publishes the acclaimed international road racing journal Rouleur, plus a range of cycling books. It also sells branded cycling merchandise via its own online retail emporium. Spatial Global collects the magazines from Gruppo's printers on a monthly basis and processes subscriber data received from the publisher's sales team. At its automated mailing house in Castle Donington, near Derby, it then encloses the magazines before labelling and despatching them worldwide. Excess stock goes into storage in Spatial's warehouse, where orders for back-numbers placed on the publisher's retail websites are received directly for picking, enclosing and despatch. In the latest extension to this business, Spatial is now also receiving Gruppo’s merchandise from suppliers – mainly cycling collectables, art, clothing and books – and placing them into stock. It picks and packs orders for these items, and dispatches them by mail and courier. In addition, it is also providing new automated stock control services. Stock levels are transmitted to both Gruppo's web servers and its sales team on a daily basis – allowing reserves of books, etc., to be topped-up from the printers/suppliers when required, and ensuring that no web sale is missed through avoidable lack of stock. Finally, the supply chain management specialist is receiving magazine and book orders from Gruppo's own sales team, and is picking and packing bulk orders destined for retailers. These are shipped via Spatial's own express parcels service (SPEX), as well as by worldwide freight and UK transport. Bruce Sandell, Managing Director of Gruppo Media, said: "Spatial has proved to be an excellent partner for our business. They are flexible and customer-focused – and are constantly adapting to our needs. They have an excellent team – from the senior management to the person responsible for the account on a daily basis. Quality of service is key for our high-end customer base and the positioning of our brand. Importantly, Spatial is also always working with us to make our business more efficient and to bring costs down – consequently contributing to improving our margins. I am delighted to have extended our long-term partnership with them." Andrew Austin, Deputy Chairman of Spatial Global and Senior Executive Officer at parent company, The Keswick Enterprises Group Limited, added: "We have been working with Rouleur since 2009 and it is rewarding to have maintained this relationship with Gruppo. The work now covers most aspects of our specialist fulfilment services for publishers in the UK, and we are delighted to be an integral part of the young company's push for growth in 2014 and beyond." Spatial Global is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Keswick Enterprises Group Limited, a supply chain focused business with pan-European transport capabilities plus substantial warehousing and distribution services throughout the UK, mainland Europe and across the world.
