BIFA Annual Dinner raises £6500 for Charity

Friday, 24th February 2017 saw 250 guests from the Merseyside region, the wider UK and overseas enjoy yet another great evening at the BIFA Liverpool Region 2017 Annual Dinner.

Attending the BIFA Annual Dinner gives me a great opportunity to meet the carriers, port representatives and other strategic partners within our global supply chain. This year was slightly different in the fact I was also representing BIFA in my new role as a BIFA Director, as well as Midlands Regional Chair.

Rachel Morley, General Manager – Operations, Spatial Global (BIFA Director)

BIFA is keen to put something back into the community

Entertainment was provided by local comedian John Evans and over £6500 was raised for the chosen charities, the Ellesmere Port Sea Cadets; Help for Heroes, the charity which supports those injured whilst serving the country overseas; and Zoe’s Place, a hospice for young children with life shortening illnesses and their families.

Pictured with John Evans are the top table guests (from right to left as viewed) David Huck the Port Director for Peel Ports, Jenny Stewart the CEO of the Liverpool & Sefton Chambers of Commerce, Fred Osborn the National Chairman of BIFA with his wife Carol, Mark Wild the BIFA Liverpool Region Chair, Cllr Malcolm Kennedy the Deputy Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Rachel Morley the BIFA Midlands Regional Chair and recently elected BIFA Main Board Director and Carol Kirkham representing Zoe's Place.
