Lauren Dewsbury 92% Pass for Dangerous Goods Revalidation Exam

As an IATA Regulated Cargo Agent, it is necessary to have staff members trained to the IATA Level for the safe handling and transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air.

Lauren Dewsbury within Spatial Global has achieved this qualification. The IATA qualification is a full three day course with an exam at the end of it and a 2 day revalidation course has to be completed every 2 years.

The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) sets the standard to ensure the safe handling of dangerous goods in air shipping. Some items may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board it.  The air transportation of these dangerous materials can either be forbidden or restricted.  IATA works closely with local governments and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) in the development of regulations and it’s Spatial Globals’ role to ensure that these are strictly adhered to by our customers in the preparation and presentation to the airlines through correct packing, handling and documenting of the goods.
