Spatial Global provides industry expertise on Brexit Strategy Group
As a member of the East Midlands Brexit Strategy Group, Rachel Morley was invited to attend a roundtable lunch with Lord Callanan, Minister of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union and Emma McClarkin, MEP for the East Midlands. Also in attendance were 15 regional businesses, all representing different areas of interest from manufacture, services, finance, recruitment and international trade. The East Midlands Brexit Strategy Group is hosted jointly by the East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire).
Shaping the development of the Chamber's 2018 lobbying priorities
The purpose of the East Midlands Brexit Strategy Group is to share sector expertise and create a knowledge base for the East Midlands. The agenda showcased the Chamber's 2018 lobbying priorities, together with activities of the Brexit Advisory Group - one year before the UK leaves the EU. It’s been devised to help business-leaders minimise risk associated and implications of Brexit, based on current developments and feedback from members.
