QR codes allow efficient processing of returned mail and help clients to manage their records and reduce waste.

 

Management of undeliverable mail

Spatial Global produces regular electronic files of items returned from clients’ mailings. We print QR codes on the carrier sheet or wrap which contain a copy of the delivery address as well as references allowing us to identify the mailing from which the item originated.

 

Processing undeliverable mail is fast and efficient

Returned mail is processed by simply scanning the QR code on the item. The intended recipient’s details are saved to a spreadsheet and the file is securely sent to the client so they can update the relevant records for their next mailing.

 

Returned, recycled or securely destroyed

Returned items with no reusable value can be destroyed or recycled. Reusable materials can be returned to the client or held in stock to fulfil future orders.
