Dramatic E-fulfilment Growth

Spatial Global experienced huge demand for its e-commerce fulfilment services during lockdown, resulting in operating a 7 day working week to keep on top of the increase in online orders.

Lockdown Ecommerce Boom

With the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown measures imposed, it was not surprising that ecommerce sales increased dramatically. At a time when most businesses were closing their doors, Spatial Global were supporting their e-fulfilment customers to keep their online sales generating valuable income. The variety of products managed varies greatly and all experienced an increase in sales, but none was more dramatic than Evapo's product range of e-cigarettes, e-liquids and vaping accessories. With more than ten times their typical order values for the season, driven by the closure of all their high street retail stores.

"The team at Spatial Global have experienced significant increases in demand at a time of great concern throughout the World. Adapting to Government advice on social distancing measures in the workplace, whilst flexing with extending working hours and increasing shifts. Our ecommerce clients have been very appreciative of fulfilment teams outstanding performance during these challenging times.”

Book Sales, Home Schooling Kits and Hobbyist Ecommerce Sales

With approximately 9.5 million jobs furloughed in the UK, blanket closure of schools and enforced lockdown, people looked online for answers. Whether overdosing on Netflix box sets or more creative activities like craft sets, home schooling kits and books.
