Paper wrap mailing

As the paper wrap options increase for magazine mailings, more companies choose printed paper wrap to increase advertising and promotional opportunities.

More publishers choose sustainable paper wrap mailing solutions

With the ever growing number of consumers choosing to reject polywrap plastic covering on their subscription publications, the pressure to switch to sustainable paper wrap mailing grows. Whilst some publishers embrace the opportunity to enhance their environmental positioning, others choose to use paper wrap to increase advertising and promotional opportunities. Paper wrap mailing for magazines can provide a powerful design opportunity, as long as the areas for postal addresses and the postal indicia adhere to Royal Mail’s postage requirements.

Eco-friendly paper magazine wrap benefits

Paper wrap mailing offers more than a viable paper-wrapping solution for magazines:

  • 100% recyclable, paper wrap is less harmful to our planet than plastic poly wrap.
  • Machine-readable, it also qualifies for discounted Royal Mail services
  • Endless design and promotional opportunities fully customisable – offering limitless design opportunities, which provides a more enticing and engaging piece of mail

Paper wrap mailing is the only truly sustainable and viable alternative to polywrap

At Spatial Global we believe that paper wrap mailing is the only truly sustainable and viable alternative to polywrap. All of the paper used for our paper magazine wraps is sourced responsibly, in line with our continuous sustainability efforts. Paper magazine wrap isn’t a new solution, however, with the current backlash against single-use plastics and the problems surrounding recycling, Spatial Global decided to invest in a their state of the art paper wrap mailing machine back in 2019 and took delivery in 2020 just as the first lockdown hit the UK. Since then the paper wrap mailings have steadily increased with magazines and catalogues leading the way.
