Highly experienced in international commerce, Vickie joins the freight accounts administration team supporting and advising customers on Letters of Credit and other compliance documentation requirements related to imports and exports.
Understanding the customers perspective
Vickie entered the world of import and export administration working with the inbound supply management team of a high street clothing brand. This developed her interest in the complex administrative aspects of import and export, especially thoese related to credit transactions. Working with global supply chains, Vickie has a strong empathy with customers. She understands first-hand the challenges faced from liaising with the supplier factory to ensure on-time shipment of goods, through to managing the logistics partners and monitoring the consignment, to ensure a smooth transition to the final delivery location.
“The role at Spatial Global, working alongside Lesley Henderson in this specialised area, builds on my import export career experience. Starting out with a high street clothing brand, managing overseas suppliers; then moving on to an international trade loans company, underwriting export transactions, has provided me a broad insight across many aspects of import/export commerce. My role within the Freight team at Spatial Global will capitalise on my previous experience. I’m looking forward to developing my skills further and working alongside such an accomplished set of colleagues .”
